Marriage Class
Believing that God ordained marriage
for companionship, pleasure and support.
You are cordially invited to attend a twelve week marriage class for couples, beginning Sunday evening, September 14, 2008, at 6:00 p.m., in the church library. This class will be taught by Denis and Debbie Whittet, a couple married 32 years yet still aware of the need to review, learn and practice the tools necessary for a strong and lasting relationship.
The cost for the class is $15/couple which
includes the workbook Making Love Last
Forever (by Gary Smalley) and childcare for children not yet entering kindergarten. (Children in grades K-5 are invited to attend Friends Club.)

Moms In Touch
The different “Moms In Touch International” (MITI) groups of moms praying for their children and their schools start up again this fall. We’d love to have you join us. Many local schools have groups already formed.
John Wetten Elementary meets the1st and 3rd Friday mornings of each month, 9:30-10:30am.

Happy 100th Anniversary!
Join us for a weekend of activities commemorating Gladstone Christian Church over the last 100 years. These activities are the culmination of our year-long celebration.
Saturday, September 20
Celebration Dinner/Program
Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
Cost: $12
Our keynote speaker will be retired missionary Phil Edwards. He and his wife, Maggie, were our missionaries to Southeast Asia, until their retirement. Also, Phil’s grandfather was Pastor Kenneth Hendricks our former pastor from 1933 - 1937. There will be a line up of special memories and music. The talented Bisceglia Family will entertain us while we dine. The last day to purchase tickets is September 10. Tickets are available in the foyer after both morning services and in the Church Office during the week. Admittance to the program is by ticket only.

Brunch served between services
Wednesday, September 3, is the last day to order shirts and totes. Mugs, note cards and cookbooks will be sold through September 21.
