Our Seniors (we like to refer to as 'Seasoned Saints') meet weekly on Wednesdays from September-May. Activities begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. in our Community Center on the main level, with the exception of Bible study day. Please plan to arrive prior to that time so you won't miss any of our activities. Please invite someone to share this special time with you. Occasional field trips are also scheduled throughout the year, including the summer months.
Welcome back Seniors! Our regular Wednesday activities will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. Come early and enjoy the opportunity to visit with old friends and new.
September September 3 Chef’s Choice
Lavonne will lead us in music and great stories. The price for lunch will still be one dollar thanks to Jan’s good shopping and planning.
September 10 Bible Studies
The ladies will meet in the library for class. Lavonne Stewart will be leading our study once again. She will probably put a notice in the mailboxes at church so the ladies will be informed on what the study will be. Gordy Mills will lead the men’s class. The topic will be Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness by Jerry Cook. The purchase price of the book is $12.98. Following the study time a light lunch will be served.
September 17 Soup-R-Wednesday
We will be entertained by George Rozwick. He does a fine job of playing the accordion and telling good clean humor. Afterwards we will enjoy eating together. The menu will be soup, rolls, dessert and beverage.
September 24 Potluck
We will enjoy listening to a very special choir led by our own Ruth Mackey. Following this special time we will enjoy our potluck which is always plentiful and a good variety.
